Tragó 40 cuchillos porque le “gustaba como saben”

Un equipo de cirujanos quedaron apabullados cuando descubrieron que había tragado no uno, ni dos, sino 40 cuchillos durante los dos meses anteriores, porque le gustaba su sabor.

de los cinco cirujanos que atendieron al señor Singh, el Dr. Jitinder Malhotra, calíficó esta como la cirugía más aterradora que ha practicado en sus 20 años de experiencia.  Dice que durante el primer diagnóstico, estaban confundidos, porque al realizar un ultrasonido, este reveló una masa sólilda en su estómago, y pensaron que se  trataba de cáncer.

El paciente dijo al equipo de médicos que sentía una urgencia incontrolable de ingerir cuchillos, y que lo había hecho por los pasados dos meses, sin tener molestia hasta la última semana. Los  médicos no pueden explicar la compulsión del señor Singh, ni tampoco la causa por la que no murió desde el primer objeto que tragó, que debió desgarrarle intestinos y otros órganos. Más aún, cómo evitó que 40 cuchillos lo desgarraran internamente por completo.

Después de una cirugía complicada por sangrado intenso y continuo, el equipo de cirujanos consiguieron salvar la vida del paciente.  Los médicos creen que tiene buenas expectativas de recuperarse, mientras no vuelva a tragar otro cuchillo.
